Go to Pages > Add New > Create a Page Named Like Home ( the name could be anything you like). At the Right Side Under the Template, the drop-down Menu is for Choosing the Default Home Page. You have to Choose the Template and publish it

In This Step, You Can Assign Home Page as a FrontPage. Go to Pages -> Add New -> Create a page named Home (the name is not so important ) Publish the Page. Go to setting -> Reading-> Static Front Page SelectA static page Under Homepage, Select Home (or Whatever You Named Your FrontPage).
